For those of you coming from the USA there are two good options for flying to the Freiburg region where the wedding will take place.

(Generally speaking, we would recommend taking a bus or train to Freiburg and then renting a car there as it will be less expensive than at the airport.)

- Air Travel: The Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport (BSL) is about 1 hour from Freiburg and is actually in Switzerland.

- Ground Travel: It's a 1 hour bus ride with Flixbus Freiburger Reisedienst. You can reserve the bus here. It picks you up right at the airport and brings you directly to the main train station in Freiburg.

- Airtravel: The airline Lufthansa now has direct flights from the Minneapolis Airport to the Frankfurt Airport (FRA)!

- Ground Travel: From here you can catch a train directly at the airport and it goes straight to Freiburg with the Deutschebahn. You can book the train here.

If you will be flying from another place in Europe it might be worthwhile looking into trains or flying into the Baden-Baden Airport.

1. Train: If you travel by train, you can usually find good deals on Trainline.

2. Plane: If traveling by plane, it might be cheaper and more convenient to fly into the Baden-Baden Airport (FKB). I have never flown in there, but it's also only one hour from Freiburg.

- Car: It is easiest to get to the Farm by car.

- Train: If you choose to come by train, it's about a 1.5 hour train ride from Freiburg and you will take the train to Göschweiler Emil Baader Platz, Löffingen.
